How many words should I learn a day?

10 words a day is a good balance for lasting learning: it’s quick, not tiring and easy to keep up every day. With 10 words a day you learn 70 a week, 300 a month and 3,650 a year.

Can you learn a language by memorizing 10 words a day?

Vocabulary is the foundation of a language; most everyday conversation uses the few thousand most common words. Hearing words, seeing them in example sentences and reinforcing them with lessons and tests makes them stick.

How many words can you learn in a month?

With 10 words a day you learn about 300 words in a month. That is a good start for basic conversations such as greetings, introductions, shopping and asking for directions.

What is the easiest way to memorize vocabulary?
